The human experience is intricate and deeply personal. I believe that each of us is continuously navigating life’s challenges to the best of our abilities. By exploring how our early experiences and relationships have shaped who we are today, we empower ourselves with self-awareness, understanding, and the potential for healing. I offer a compassionate, collaborative, and emotionally attuned space where we can explore these formative experiences together. This process goes beyond simply revisiting the past; it involves uncovering how these experiences continue to influence our internal and external landscapes today. Through this exploration, we can build meaningful connections between our past and present selves, paving the way for self-compassion, self-acceptance, and healing.
Embarking on a therapeutic journey can feel both vulnerable and daunting. Therefore, I provide a warm and safe environment where we can initiate the healing process at a pace that feels most comfortable for you. I deeply respect the uniqueness of each individual, and their personal background, situation, struggles, as well as their strengths.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from a range of theoretical orientations and treatment modalities including psychoanalysis/psychodynamic theory, attachment theory and research, emotion-focused therapy (EFT), internal family systems (IFS), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), existential psychotherapy, and various humanistic/process-experiential models. I adopt a biopsychosocial perspective, considering biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to your current experiences and challenges. My approach is trauma-informed, and I aim to provide psychoeducation on the interconnectedness of your psychological states and nervous system functioning. Above all, I believe that a therapeutic alliance built on mutual respect, trust, and genuine positive regard forms the cornerstone of effective psychotherapy, leading to profound and lasting transformation.
Currently, I am in the final stages of completing a Master of Psychology degree at Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Western University. I am working under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Bradford, a registered clinical and counselling psychologist, and I am working towards registration as a Psychological Associate, under the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
I am so glad you’re here.
